CHRIST IS YOUR
STRENGTH
For
I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Philippians 4:13
So
many times during our day we forget where our strength comes from and it causes
us to crumble. We forget that it is not
through our own wisdom, our own righteousness, or our own capability, but
instead the power of the most Heavenly King that we get through our daily
struggles. It is very easy to get weary and frustrated when things seem to fall
apart or that one person pushes you, but let us understand that only happens
when we rely on ourselves. I love to think of God as my PROVIDER. I ask for HIS
strength, HIS courage to get through emotional battles, and HIS knowledge so I
can succeed, because too many times when we become dependent on ourselves, or
even other people, we come up empty. Empty because we've failed to remember who
controls all things, and we've neglected the hand of help Jesus stretches out
to us with unconditional support, countless times. We tend to take things into
our own hands, and become so confident in our own ways that we completely overlook
the Father that is willing to give more than we could think of providing for
ourselves.
As
you push on with your purpose, whether that is school, college, university or
work, reflect on the thought of if you have allowed yourself to become disheartened
as a result of you using your own ability. Recently God placed this on my heart
{and I love sharing these things with you guys because I do feel that He tells
me this to help others}; When you doubt yourself, you’re questioning the power
of Gods hand. You don’t realise that you doubt His power, but you’re truly forgetting
just how much His grace can change a situation or the way you feel in seconds.
Therefore we must not disregard just how mighty our God is.
In His own word God
ensures His promise to us – ‘’for I know the plans I have for you’’ says the
Lord. They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you future and a hope’’.
{Jeremiah 29: 11} So when you get those thoughts of doubt about how this and
that will work out for you, TRUST that Gods promise is unshaken. God is excited
for the success He has lined up for your purpose, so don’t give the enemy a
single chance to tell you that you will not progress, because you will.
Understand that you were made to be VICTORIOUS, and rest in the thought that
God is there in the Kingdom waiting for you to take your place. He has created
you to excel in a certain field, and if He has placed desire and passion for a
specific area, then STRIVE forwards knowing and trusting that you are using
Gods ability and not your own. He will provide every ounce of confidence and
strength you ask for, because His power has NO BOUNDS.
Some
scripture for you to meditate on:
He gives
strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even
youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who
hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like
eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40
:29-31
God is our
refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
-
Psalm 46:1
Finally,
be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Ephesians
6:10
