1 year!
So it’s been exactly
one year since Kingdom Ambassadors started. One year since I stepped out with
the vision that God has gifted me with, trusted His will, and produced my first
ever blogpost on here. God has been faithful the whole time – overseeing,
guiding, providing and inspiring all content and creativity. Every word,
blogged, spoken, emailed or tweeted has been HIM. With Jesus at the center, His heart has been overflowing into the words that He has used through me as His vessel.
I remember at the
beginning of this all, I was consumed with anxiety about the opinions of others,
uncertainty about how it would all be able to work consistently alongside my
other commitments, and even the biggest threat of inadequacy within myself. But
I chose HIM. I had to remember that when I chose Jesus instead of this world
and continually picked His way over mine, He took every concern and perfected it
in His righteous ways. I still think back to the night after bible study that I
started the blog and how nervous I was about actually walking in obedience to
what was burning on my heart. I didn’t take it lightly and still don’t brush my
purpose off with ease, but I can honestly say I did not see this last year
coming. As many of you may know from my personal testimony, I was delivered
from the heartbreak of a relationship, and God has so graciously uprooted all
the internal issues that were caused and enhanced from that season of healing.
I always love to share with people that I still remember the days that I cried
out to the Lord in absolute bits, asking Him to not only mend my heart but to
mould it so that it reflected Him. I prayed for a fire for His gospel that wouldn’t
easily burn out and even just the desire to learn His word and spend time with
Him daily. God has answered all of these prayers and has gone beyond all
expectation, and has literally blown my mind with His sovereign heart. He has
revealed Himself as a God who not only listens to the cries of those who are desperately
seeking Him, but a God who sends His Holy Spirit to guide those who have
accepted Him each step of the way.
One year later, God
has taught me the importance of trusting Him wholeheartedly because that trust
WILL be tested. In both my personal walk and my ministry, God has challenged me
daily to rely on His grace alone to pull me through the most stressful of
situations, but also to completely consume myself in praising Him even when I
can’t physically see what path God is taking something down. I’ve learnt that
not everyone is going to be for me, but in reality that can’t even begin to
shake me when I have the King of Kings to call my own personal supporter. When
Jesus is your complete and utter Rock, the opinions of man just don’t succeed
in fazing you the way they used to.
Thank you. A huge
thank you to everyone who has read my blogposts, who has sent me an email,
tweet or message of encouragement, and to everyone who has continued to share
the gospel around through Kingdom Ambassadors. Starting this blog, I said to
myself ‘’you know what even if one person reads it and gets saved then heaven
is rejoicing and I’ve helped that one person that needed the blessing of my
blog’’, but through the fruit of my obedience I’ve seen God do absolutely
amazing things in the lives of so many of you. I can’t sit here and take credit
for anything that has happened, any open door of speaking opportunity, or any
of the words ever posted on here, because it is all GOD. His Holy Spirit is who
is truly ministering to your hearts every time you read His word through my
blog, and I’m constantly praying that you all have softened hearts that are
ready to receive what He has for you. Every ounce of grace, strength and wisdom
that has been needed to walk in my purpose and encourage you all has been from
Jesus. So thank God for all of
your support and love along the way, and I can’t wait to continue to bless you
through the ministry that God has entrusted me with. Love you all! {Youtube
video’s coming your way soon!}
