For
everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven

Ecclesiastes
3:1
So we’ll be
battling in a test, we ask God for wisdom and help, and as soon as He provides…
WE RUN.
I’ve
personally been fighting this battle recently, of compromising what God has
told me personally in order to please my emotions and my flesh. So many times
when we’re stressed out and have a heavy burden placed on us, we 1. Forget to
seek God’s peace and wisdom so we don’t even end up talking to Him about the
situation or 2. If we do seek Him with genuine desire to know His will, when He
reveals it to us, we still choose to walk in disobedience. There is something
SO amazing on the other side of obedience. At the time it seems as if it is
ridiculously tough to go through with God’s will instead of your own plan,
because it doesn’t make sense to you. It’s more appealing to follow what we
want, it’s more practical, it’s more convenient, BUT IT IS NOT MORE BENEFICIAL.
God rewards
faithfulness. He loves to reward those who stay faithful - to those who accept
His wisdom that He provides and are willing to use it in the time of battle. Do
not let your impatience towards God or your desire for what you want your own
life to consist of, to pull you away from your relationship with God which then
results in your faith wavering.
Have you
ever had God give you a word whilst you’re praying/in His presence/or He just
randomly placed a thought or promise on your heart? And it may not have made
sense at the time?
When I got out of my last relationship {I blogged about this
in my 2014 lessons post} I started spending crazy time with God and He told me
to wait. I’m thinking ‘ok cool, wait for what?’ He told me to wait on God’s
best for me. He told me to not settle for someone resulting in being unequally
yoked, just for the sake of being romantically involved or trying to fill that
empty void that only the love of Christ can fill. God had promised me a Godly
man when I was ready, who would be confident in leadership and understand the importance
of covering me in prayer ESPECIALLY when I’m perusing my purpose with online
ministry. He reminded me that I couldn’t afford to emotionally invest in
someone who wasn’t God’s best for me, because I have kingdom responsibility and
a purpose to fulfil ALONE for now. This was a personal promise that I knew God
would unveil in His perfect timing, but yet others around me caused my faith to
come into question. When people question something God has told you personally
saying it’s ‘unrealistic’ or causing you to adjust your true faith in God -
never apologise for your standards. Simply learn to say ‘my God is amazing so
all things are possible with Him and I’m trusting that He will deliver and
provide.’
Don’t ever
become disheartened because a promise from God is taking longer than expected.
Be persistent in prayer and constantly seeking wisdom on what step to take
next. When you focus on the cross, you won’t have time to highly acknowledge people
who may question your trust in God’s timing and faithfulness. Do not overlook
the power of God to fulfil what He has told you – but do keep in mind to be
praying for HIS will to be done. He has plans of greatness for your life that
NO man or woman can take away from you. Wait on Him, and as your strength in
Christ gets renewed and replenished, you will see it was all worth it.
Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; be
strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with
all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways
acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Hebrews 6:12
So that you may not be
sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the
promises.
Praying for you all! Stay waiting on
The Lord! He loves you so much.

This is the best and most realist thing I have read in a long time. You are so amazing and what you are doing is helping so many! Including myself, it's so hard being a young female in today's society, there are so many influences from the devil surrounding us. I am constantly trying to strengthen my relationship with God and your words are helping me stay on the right track. THANKYOU, please continue. I pray the Lord continues to bless you with his words of wisdom so you can continue to spread that word to others. Thea Cowell
