I suffered with this greatly last year. I felt uncomfortable because every time I was getting before God He would show me my heart and pick up on things I never would have recognized. He began to show me all the greed, lust, selfishness and brokenness that was within me. But He is a FAITHFUL God. I allowed Him to reform and soften my heart the way He pleased and allowed Him to take control of my attitude. (I wasn't the most gentle or compassionate girl out there lol) But what if I had neglected that quiet time with God? What if I had been so hardened towards what His word says I should be like? Be intentional about spending time with God. Ask Him to reveal HIS perfect heart to you and watch your character change & desire for God grow.
